Chando is currently living in New York City. Chando was studying in Manhattan College when she became an actor. Alexandra began her professional career acting in the TV series House Blend in which she played Jenna Harper. As the World Turns on CBS was her first television performance after three years. Chando was a part of the American documentary films True life and Sherri in 2009; she played Maddie Coleman in As the World Turns. In addition, she appeared in two episodes of the American comedy-drama TV show Glory Daze as Annabelle. In addition, she has appeared in Castle, Hindsight and Dead People.
