She lives in New York City. Chando was an undergraduate at Manhattan College when she became an actor. Chando played the character of Maddie Coleman on the television soap drama As the World turns, which she performed from 2005 until 2007 before returning for another few months, beginning in the latter part of 2009. Alexandra began her career in acting with the TV show House Blend on which she portrayed Jenna Harper. The following year, she was cast in the American soap opera on TV which aired at CBS, As the World Turns as Maddie Coleman. Chando was a part of the American documentary films True life and Sherri in 2009, and was also a part of the Maddie Coleman character in As the World Turns. Chando also played Annabelle in two episodes Glory Daze, an American comedy/drama television series. Other TV credits include Castle, Hindsight Dead People, and Outcast.
