Chando is a resident of New York City. Chando was studying in Manhattan College when she became an actress. Chando was the lead character Maddie Coleman on the television soap show As the World Turns, which she performed from 2005 until 2007 and again for several months, beginning in the latter part of 2009. Alexandra was first seen on the screen in 2002, with House Blend as Jenna Harper. As the World Turns, an CBS-produced American soap opera, ran for three seasons. Alexandra was the character Maddie Coleman. Chando was also a part of the lead actress in a documentary TV series in the US, True life, and appeared in Sherri. Additionally, she starred in two episodes of Glory Daze as Annabelle. Other television show credits include Castle, Hindsight, Dead People and Outcast.
